The Spanish Agency for International Development (AECID) is constructing brand-new preschool centers in Fourkoulom, Ngorerom, and Nguelia. Bricks and walls, funded and underway. But their grant stops there — no books, no furniture, no trained teachers.![]()

That's why Watoto Read steps in where the construction funding ends, equipping classrooms and training 18 preschool instructors so these buildings become real, working Early Childhood Centers for 770 children instead of empty rooms.![]()
