Watoto Read Annual Golf Tournament

Thank you for considering participation in the Watoto Read 2018 Golf Outing.  Unfortunately, the golf outing has been postponed from the planned date of September 29, 2018 at Bent Tree Golf Course until Spring 2019 due to date conflicts and reduced availability of golfers.  The new date for Spring 2019 will be determined and posted by mid October 2018.  Please check back soon for updates.  Those previously registered for the outing will be contacted directly regarding their payment.


The Tiger Woods flag raffle will be performed on September 29, 2018 as planned and will be witnessed by 2 members of the Watoto Read Board of Directors.  The winner will be contacted after the drawing that day.

2018 Annual Golf Tournament

2018 is Watoto Read’s 2nd Annual golf outing. The golf event was developed as a fundraiser as well as a networking opportunity for Watoto Read potential donors and business partners. This one-day event can accommodate up to 128 players. The day starts with registration followed by a shotgun start, with teams of four players completing 18 holes. Conclusion of play will be followed by a presentation, dinner, and social event at the club house.

Location: Bent Tree Golf Club, 350 Bent Tree Rd, Sunbury, OH 43074
Attendees: 32 teams of four including Donors, Business/Networking Contacts, Friends of Watoto Read

Cost: Cost is $400 per team (This cost is waived Gold, Silver, & Bronze Level Sponsors)


We are very excited to announce we will again have some amazing prizes to raffle off this year including a 2008 PIN FLAG FROM THE US OPEN AUTOGRAPHED BY TIGER WOODS! This was generously donated by the Tiger Woods Foundation. Tickets for $20 per entry or 3 for $50. The winner will be selected during the awards presentation of the tournament.  You do not have to play golf or be present at the tournament to win.

Additional raffle items planned include: golf apparel, golf clubs, Ohio State Football tickets, autographed Cleveland Browns merchandise, as well as various gift card packages for use at businesses around Columbus. You don’t want to miss it! Raffle tickets for these items will be sold during the golf tournament and available to those only in attendance.
